We just got home from the ER...

Nora was playing a game of PLINKO tonight at a banquet and having a great time. Everything went fine until she pulled the whole thing down on herself. It was about a 3 foot by 5 foot piece of plywood with tons of metal pegs sticking out and a piece of Plexiglas over the whole thing. The Plexiglas came off and the metal pegs poked several holes in Nora's head. She was bleeding all over the place. While we were cleaning her up, we noticed that one of the pegs had broken off and was embedded in her scalp. We loaded her up in the car and drove 45 minutes to the ER. They put her in a papoose thing that immobilized her, gave her a deadening shot in her head, and pulled the piece of metal out. She is okay now, but it was pretty traumatizing for all of us. I kept the 1" peg that was in her head!
ETA: The blessing in disguise is that our deductible starts over tomorrow!
