Toddlers: 24 Months+

Video monitor with 2 kids..

How are you making it work?  They will be in separate rooms and I really want to be able to see both of them when I want.

I have the summer handheld.  Do they sell the camera part separate? Then I guess I'd have to make the choice of who to listen to...hmmmm

  • I am interested in this as well.

  • We replaced dd1 with a cheapie one. It stinks I really want to see them both but that's just me being super paranoid.

  • They do sell the camera seperate and I bought one.  I have one on each channel.  Right now DD is still in our room so it hasnt been an issue.  But I also have the angelcare.  So what I think I'm going to do when she moves to her room is to keep DS on the video monitor and DD on the angelcare monitor for the sound and then if I hear her I can switch the video over to see her....does that make sense???

And you can get just the camera from BRU online, buybuybaby, or directly from summer infant.

  • I bought a second one.

It was expensive but with them 17 months apart I really wasn't ready to give up being able to see the toddler.

I figure we'll use them in the basement play room eventually so hopefully we'll get our money's worth out of them.

We have a camera on each bed/crib.  One is set to channel A and the other to B.

I keep one monitor upstairs and the other downstairs.

I toggle back and  forth between the 2 boys rooms but basically it's on the baby's crib until I need  to check to see if the toddler is awake.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

Probably not the answer you were looking for but it's what we did.
