Re: Need comfort.....
step away from the google. you will make yourself nuts trying to figure out every single little twinge, etc. re: pregnancy.
congrats on your bfp! call your OB to schedule a 1st appt (you may not be seen until you are 8 weeks or more) and in the meantime, relax. everything in moderation.
NO. WAY. Someone is being told to step away from google?? LOL

I know. *sigh*
I might be coming down with something.
Well, I hope you feel better soon!
Shanbrady- really though, try to relax and congrats! There's a lot you could worry about... but don't!

congratulations. the best thing you can do is stay positive and assume evrything is fine until a doctor tells you otherwise. it is far more likely that everything will work out perfectly, we just tend to obsess over all the "what ifs". if someone told you had more than an 80% chance of winning the lotto, you'd buy a ticket right. try flipping the stats around and you may feel better.
enjoy the fact that you are going to have a baby and save the worrying for when he or she is a teenager!
Keep in mind that you're more likely to have a healthy pregnancy than not.
I am shocked that Jenerally told you to step away from google....ha ha ha. I agree when it comes to just random pregnancy searching. However if you have questions about what to eat, what is safe, what is normal....it is a good place to get information.
Try to stay calm and enjoy this time!!
First, congrats!!!
Second, don't worry! If there's a problem, you're body will let you know. Worrying is just unnecessary stress, which isn't good for you or baby.
Welcome!
My Dr. told me to stay away from Google b/c half the things you read are not true and cause you to worry unnecessarily. I find that a little funny, since so many people on this board are pro-Google but are also pro-"ask your Dr." In my case, those two things are mutually exclusive. LOL
