Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone noticed their nausea decreasing at about 9 weeks? I've been pretty consistently sick every morning since the beginning of week 6 and I've felt a little better the last few days. Of course, I'm worrying, but I know that symptoms tend to get a little better toward the end of the first tri- I just didn't think it'd be this early. Did this happen to anyone else?
P.S. I'm still tired and peeing a lot and my boobs are still huge, which are all good signs ![]()
Re: symptoms at 9 weeks?
Yep, I was one of the lucky ones whose morningsickness pretty much went away by the 9th week or so. The worst weeks for me were 6 and 7 and I never even threw up; just had morning nausea.
Just be aware though that you could feel nausea in 2nd tri; I'm 23 weeks now and I do occasionally experience nausea when I have an empty stomach. As soon as I eat something, it's gone.
your hormones peak between weeks 9 and 10, so often that's when you feel the sickest.
afterwards, the placenta takes over and you begin to feel better in general. Until you get to be, oh, say, 33w and are a giant whale.
Week 7 and week 8 were the worst for me. Then, I woke up the day week 9 began and it was the first m/s free day. I have been nausea free since then... as long as I eat. I am eating every 3-4 hours, still. I have the exhaustion, the boobs, the gas, the peeing, the dizziness etc... just lost the nausea/sickness.
Maybe we're in the clear?!
*edited to add that I, too, never threw up... just got crazy nauseous and burpy*
I was the same way. Week 9 has been good to me. Week 8 was the worst! I was so sick. ?
