Anyone know how much I should/should not be lifting? Went to Whole Foods today, and I used the mesh bags. Although they didn't "feel" heavy, they're definitely each about 2-3 bags of groceries... What do you guys think??
I hear 25 lbs. Most of the time, things weigh less than you think they do (at least with me they do). I thought some food weighed like 10 lbs., and I weighed it and turned it was only like 2 or 3.
I think groceries are fine. If you really want to know, pick up something you know is 25 lbs. just so you'll have something to go by.
My doctor said that as long as your moving along in a healthy pregnancy you can pick up groceries, your child (mine is 3yrs old) and exercise as you normally would as long as your concious about it and do not over exert yourself. Every doctor is going to have different advice but 10lbs seems very light for a limit.
Re: Lifting??
Really? So I can't pick up my son? I haven't done heavy lifting but this hasn't occurred to me at all.
