Yes! I'm SO sad I wont' get to go to any mardi gras balls this year!  I do plan on going downtown for the parades with DH on Joe Cane Sunday and Fat Tuesday if this little boy stays put.  I bet it's crazy in New Orleans! Isn't that where you are?

Hey! Yes, I'm in New Orleans and living right off of St Charles a few miles from the Quarter. I live right on the main parade route and it's stupid crazy around these parts come MG time. I really am looking forward to the month of February bc it's going to make the time really fly by for me. Or so I hope. It's definitely going to be a different experience than it was last year but that's totally cool. We're having a big party at our house Bacchus night which is the Sunday before Fat Tuesday. I get giddy just thinking about it. Haha.

 You're a couple weeks ahead of me, I think, so I bet you're a bit nervous about all the festitivies with your DH and all...but I hope you can at least have some King Cake and catch some throws. Can't have a MG without it.

Mobile does have a pretty big deal for MG, right?

YES it is just as huge over here as New Orleans! I'm hoping to get to enjoy some of the festivities Have fun and be careful!
