Getting annoyed at friend...quick vent

So my friend calls me yesterday morning and invites herself over to go out to dinner and rent a movie...which is cool since DH is working a double tonight anyway. And she was supposed to call last night to tell ,e what time. So this afternoon I clean the house and actually flat iron my hair amd put on makeup and clothes other than my husband's old sweats (sexy, I know) Anyway, I never heard from her as to what time. I left her a voicemail 45 minutes ago and still havent heard. I need to eat dinner soon or I will get nauseous and I would prefer to be in comfy clothes. How long before I say f$ck it and put on pjs and order a pizza? Am I being hormonal, or is this rude?

I thought by being married and pregnant I was past being stood up on a Saturday night....lol...Oh and to add bitching about her, she RSVP'd to come to my superbowl party tomorrow, and then I see on Facebook she's inviting people to her Superbowl party..WTF?

I would put on PJ's...order a pizza....and when she calls just send it to VM.

I'm going to say she is a bit rude with not being clear with the plans. On another note maybe she has been sidetracked and it slipped her mind. Give her the benefit of doubt. I'm sure she will make it up to you. Now as far as being hungry I understand where you are coming from. Try maybe eating something light for now give her another hour and then order your pizza if she doesn't show.

i would say eat something and put on comfy clothes.  it is not worth making yourself feel lousy to try and be polite to someone who doesn't seem to know much about manners.  let us know if she ever calls.
