I need help thinking of a gift for DH for Valentine's day, from DD. DH is into Hallmark holidays, but I am not. I usually end up rushing to the store to get something because I have forgotten, and then sneaking it into the house saying it's from DD.
I want to do something a little special this year, but I am not crafty and can't think of anything.
Re: V-day gift from kiddo?
Maybe you can make some valentines cookies with DD for DH? That's such a fun age for playing with cookie cutters and sprinkles.?
Or you could get a simple frame with a matte in it to frame a favorite photo (maybe of DH and DD?) and let DD decorate the photo matte with valentines stickers or stamps??

I love the shortbread cookies that look like candy hearts but the zebra valentines are cute too.

Maybe you could do an inprint of DD's hand (they have kits for this, I bet Joann's or Michael's would have them) and date it, and maybe frame it in a little shadowbox that DH can display on his desk or wall at work? Or something along those lines. We got my MIL an ornament kit like that for the holidays and she really loved it.
Thanks for the input. I should have added DH is on South Beach diet, so cookies / chocolate are out.
I might try the handprint kit or have DD make a picture frame for him.
