I couldn't wait 2 more days to announce pregnancy

Our immediate family already knows. And we've both told our jobs. But, we were planning to wait until 12 weeks to tell everyone else. I know I didn't break a rule or anything by not making it until Monday... it's just funny that I waited all this time and then broke down and announced it at 11 weeks, 5 days.  Oh well, close enough!

I posted about it on my life blog. I also sent a photo e-card to aunts, uncles, friends, etc titled "Austin has an announcement to make!" with this pic:

Now, it's time to get ready for allll of the questions and unsolicited advice. LOL. I am excited though.

What a cute way to tell the others!  Don't worry about it, I'm 9 wks and already telling some people.  It's way too hard for me to keep my mouth shut this time. lol

LOL. Yeah, well this was mostly for long distance people. But actually I CAN hide still hide it right now. Not that I look like I have a flat stomach but depending on what I wear, it's not totally obvious. In my sig, you can really see it because I wore one of my (tight) work out shirts for the purpose of the belly pic!

I am only 4 weeks and I have already told my mom. We are waiting til 6 weeks to tell our immediate family. I feel like I should tell my boss soon b/c I work in a hazardous profession. How soon is too soon?

p.s. you do have a cute bump - I was surprised to see you are 11 weeks.

Yeah, I say good job holding out that long! We told our family and close friends right away. For everyone else we were trying to hold off til the 2nd trimester, but after my first ultrasound last Wednesday, and we saw the little fluttering heartbeat, we couldn't keep it in any longer! I'm still nervous & pray that all goes well, but we're telling people now. Everyone knows it's still the first trimester and they've been very understanding.
