Hello ladies! Not sure if there is a different/better board to post this on, but DH and I are interested in possibly using cloth diapers. Do any of you have a specific website that gives info about and a good price on these? Thanks!
Post on the Eco-Friendly Family board. We are also going to CD, and I have found great information from the ladies on that board. They are all experts! Many of them have links to blogs for recommendations, CD styles, a starter inventory, etc.
Come join us over on Eco Friendly Family! They are wonderful ladies who are super informative and there's NO drama there! NONE! It's great!
I have a whole butt load of sites and threads about CDing... I'll post some sites for ya here, but definitely head on over there! Don't be shy about it!
I use cloth with DD. I get all my diapers from www.greenmountaindiapers.com and I use the good ole fashioned prefolds (rectangle of cotton folded around baby) and nylon pull-up pant (like the old school plastic ones, but they're breathable). All my accessories come from a website Jillians Drawers (google) . I have spent a total of $250 on diapers and accessories for my 14 month-old and since she is partially potty trained, that is all I will need to spend. (HUGE BONUS!!!)
Most people on these boards are bonkers over the bum genius diapers, and I tried them but still preferred the prefolds- but they are popular for many reasons besides the fact that they are so damn cute, I'm sure. I would try the EFF board, as suggested, and recommend trying one of the trial packages so you can try out the many different kinds before investing in a full stash. It is so overwhelming when you really get into the research b/c there are SO many kinds, but a trial package will allow you to try them all. Good luck and enjoy!

GL!
Ditto Nicole: the EFF board. Also, Iris427 has some CD info in her bio and DomerJenC has info in her blog about her CD-ing if you find her online. ?
The blog that summed it up best for me were these two posts:
