Just wondering how much formula you go through in a week?  I only ask because our babies are the same age and I decided yesterday to quit BFing.  It's just too hard with going back to work.  I'm afraid of how much this is going to cost.

PS  I see in your profile you are a critical care nurse.  That's another thing we have in common =-)

I don't think we are the "norm", but we go through 4-5 16oz. cans of powdered formula a week.  Josie and Violet take a 6oz bottle every 2-3 hours during the day. At night, they go 4-6 hours.

They still eat so frequently because they are on Similac Alimentum which is already broken down, so it moves through them quicker. When Charlotte was their age, she went 4 hours between feedings. Most days it is 2 hours for them. So anyway, we probably go through more formula than other people.

Are you back to work? I used to work surgical and trauma ICU.  Congrats to you on breastfeeding this long with two.
