Taco Salad is a new favorite at our place. You can buy those taco shell bowl things and fill them with taco seasoned ground turkey and put in all the goods. The bowls aren't the best for you, but the rest is okay.
We have bratwurst a lot (not healthy, but yummy)
pork roast in the crock pot (I put onion soup mix in and it gives it yummy flavor)
I will occasionally put a chicken in the oven on a low temp for several hours and make some mashed potatoes and veggies with it.
grilled cheese sandwich and soup
spaghetti
dirty rice
chili and corn muffins

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
I make quiche a lot. Its super easy. I keep those refrigerated roll out crusts in the fridge at all times so I can whip one out whenever I need to make one... I use this recipe, but I use whatever meat, cheese and veggies I have around... https://food.yahoo.com/recipes/kraft/55546/spinach-quiche
Lasagna - I don't have a recipe, I just make it up every time. It's easy and makes a lot of food for the week. I have started freezing half of it.
Ham - I get packages of 3 ham "steaks" at Costco and freeze them. They thaw fast. I mix up some soy sauce, mustard, and some jam (yes, werid, but it works - strawberry or blackberry usually)... Then I put the ham on a broiling pan, brush half of that sauce on the ham, and put it under the broiler til it gets all bubbly, flip it, put the rest of the sauce/glaze on, and broil the other side. In the meantime, make some veggies, cut up some bread, and you're done. You could also make potatoes or rice or even mac n cheese to go with it.
Ohh... this is total white trash but I made this last month and it was a hit: Chicken and Dressing (Stuffing) casserole: https://southernfood.about.com/od/chickencasseroles/r/bl90911g.htm I used fat free soups to make it not so disgusting, and I mixed in some mushrooms and peas once, and hte other time I put in some chopped broccoli. Oh and it definitely doesn't need the cheese on top.
Chili and corn bread is an easy standby... we just get cans of Stagg chili - there are several that are 97% fat free.. and do 2 cans of chili and add a can of black beans, and sometimes a can of chopped tomatoes too. And Jiffy corn muffin mix. Voila.
And then of course ordering pizza is a good standby. And we go to "Month of Meals" and stock up the freezer once every month or 2.
Re: Give me some dinner ideas! Please!
Our go to dinners...
Crockpot Mac n Cheese
Roasted Chicken and potatoes
Breakfast for dinner
Spaghetti with sliced brats in the sauce
Chicken Cheese Melts
French Dip
Taco's
Super Nacho's
Fettucini made from the left over roasted chicken
* For all our dinners that call for ground beef, we use ground turkey instead.
A great quick recipe book is "Six Ingrediants or Less". It is almost always my go to book for soccer practice nights.
