Grandma wants "portraits" of the kidlets... which means that even though I prefer more casual pictures (AKA having Rebecca or Stacey style ones) we are now going to schlep it to the mall tomorrow to do this.
JCP
Picture people
Sears
Feedback on any of these places??? I don't want to spend a fortune (Pict. People is $18 a sheet -- for 2 pictures?) I don't want cheez... just nice...
will likely go to southcenter, since its closest, but if Bell sq JCP is better for example, will go there.
Thanks

Re: "studio pictures"
I did Sears for two or three months with Delaney until I found our current photographer. I think they were good and reasonably priced. You can find coupons for a lot of places as well. I think my only advice is to make sure they give you plenty of time.
Good luck
I've had a lot of luck with JCP. You can go to their website and get a coupon for $3.99 sheet, or $8.99 for a package of one pose. You will have to pay for at least one sitting fee since you have 2, so it may be more practical to purhcase a "portrait club" for 2 years ($14.99 I think). Then you can go beck when ever and not pay a sitting fee and get $3.99 a sheet (with a coupon that they always have online).
I've done Sears, it was way too expensive for what I got.
Personally I think the southcenter JCP is better than the bellevue one, they hurried and rushed through us in bellevue and I didn't get a single pic I liked. If you go on to jcp's web site you can get deals on sittings and prices but I know people really like the picture people. Recently I have heard really wonderful things about Linnea at Bellevue square https://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/storeportfolio.aspx?p=22781
I think I may try them for our 18 mo pics
JCP! You can find the 3.99 coupons in pretty much every parenting magazine too. I've been happy with JCP both time we went. I have one of her recent pics in my siggy and the rest are in my blog if you want to see them.
