One of my babies (and the other occasionally) seem to have major problems having bowel movements. I read about it in my baby book and apparently it is common for them to grunt, groan, strain and cry to get a movement out but it is HORRIBLE to listen too. She sounds like she is in such pain. Do/did any of your babies do this, when did they get past it?
Re: MoMs - 1 month old question
I would ask your pedi about it... ours didn't have this problem at first but now they're starting to... we asked her and she said to give them up to 2 oz of water a day to help out. But that being said I don't think it's a good idea to give water to babies as young as yours, ours are pretty plump and not in danger of being underfed by drinking the water
I know what you mean about it being hard to listen to... our daughter is SO sad lately and it makes me cringe just to think about the noise... hope it gets better soon!
Hi Cristy
We had to give K and M prune juice on occasion because they weren't having bms. ?I don't know if it would help your babies have and easier time, but if definitely got things going for our two. ?I have also head pear or white grape juice works as well.
