1st Trimester

i'm afraid to lose it...bfp today

So i got an extremly positive bfp....i'm afraid i'll lose again though as my dh had 0 normal sperm morphology?!?!?! :(

This was my message earlier today...i just cant beleive it...i didn't do anything right this month we gave up and were looking to adopt as we were told we'd have to do ivf!

OK so i have pcos...we found out about 3 weeks ago my dh has 0% normal form sperm.  I did have a chemical pregnancy in october....on th 10th we decided to stop trying and adopt.  Now i'm on day 32....period is late...no preg symptoms..besides sore boobs and cramping which i thought was sign of af.  Did an lh test cause thats what i had and i heard those can show pg....it was extremely positive....is it at all possible i could be preg and that it could be viable?

1 chemical and 1 loss at 9 weeks prior to DS

IUI#2 4/14/14-- BFP !!!!! Beta #1 14dpiui= 45 Beta #2 16dpiui= 80  Beta #3 18dpiui= 88 (chemical pregnancy)
March 2015- Chemical pg

1/25/16- BFP  Beta1 12dpo = 17, Beta 2 14 dpo = 28.. resulted in one beautiful boy born 9/21/16 :)

  • miracles do happen!  it only takes 1 good sperm, so maybe you have created a miracle.  i hope your dream comes true...keep us posted.

  • I really think you need to go get a pregnancy test - the OPK tests are not reliable as pregnancy tests.

    Good luck!

  • Wow! That is an amazing story! I really hope you have a sticky baby! Wouldn't your DH's sperm have to be formed correctly to fertilize your egg? So maybe he made a batch of swimmers! :) That is so exciting! Mild cramping is totally normal, and you might feel like you are about to start your period. CONGRATULATIONS!
  • Before you start getting nervous, take a pregnancy test instead of an ovulation test.  They are each made to measure different things.  Get the correct test.  I find the First Response brand very reliable.

If you are pregnant, focus on the here and now.  I've seen several people with the sticker in their siggy that says, "Today I am pregnant and I love my baby!"

You can't worry about what the future will bring you (even though it's incredibly difficult) because worrying isn't going to change anything.  I'm just now starting to ease up on worrying since I know there's nothing I can do about it.

Good luck and I hope it's a healthy sticky bean if you are pregnant!  But take the right test!

I agree... either hold it for four hours and do it then or take it in the morning.... :)

Oh, okay!  Sorry, misunderstood!  Then read everything except my 1st paragraph.  And don't worry, little mild cramps are normal.  :)
