Avoid Ticketmaster fees if buy at Macys?

Do you still pay the outrageous fees ifyou but at a Macy's Ticketmaster as oppoed to online?  I was looking for Emlo tickets for Sunday since they are 1/2 off, and I can just do will call right?

    From what I understand, the only way to avoid the Ticketmaster fees is to not buy via Ticketmaster.  Can you go directly to the box office of the venue?  You will avoid ticketmaster fees by going that route.
