Hi! I'm new to this board. Currently 9 wks PG with my 2nd child, I'm also a Type I Diabetic so it's a bit more challenging this time around. (wasn't diabetic with my DD) Hope to get to know all of you ladies!
Congratulations and welcome! My father was also diagnosed with Type I Diabetes as an adult (onset is normally during childhood, right?) Obviously he didn't have pregnancy to deal with, but I just wanted to say that I can appreciate the challenges it must present! I'm sure everything will be just fine -- I've been amazed at the advances in Diabetes treatment even over the last few years.

McKenna81 - yes it usually does show up much younger. It is challenging, I'm testing about 20 times a day so my fingers are pretty sore, lol.
Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies!

Welcome & Congrats. My stepson is a type 1 diabetic and he is 17 (will be 18 this summer). He got it when he was 13.
Looking forward to getting to know you throughout our journey!
