Sorry, Viv, but DD is grossing me out, so I'd rather have her lying to me than see her digging around. ?I don't know what to do besides shove corks up her nose and cut her fingers off. ?Any suggestions?
I'd love to hear some suggestions as well!!! DS is a thimb sucker so he has his thumb in his mouth and his finger up his nose digging around...then he eats it. I'm so disgusted that I even typed that out. We are on him ALL THE TIME and I just don't know what to do!
Ugh, we've told her buggers are germ-y and if she picks her nose, she'll get sick and can't go to school. ?I don't know if it's just a nervous habit or what, but it skeeves me out. ?And I know one day some kid will make fun of her, but I honestly don't think she would care. ?Sigh, off too google how to break a nose picker.
OK, I think i'm going to paint her nails all sparkley pink and tell her the polish with come off if she picks her nose. ?Hmmm, wonder if that will work.

GROSS!..lol. DS is a thumb sucker too (see siggy), but I have never seen him eat his boogie. I have seen him pick his nose (but not dig up there), and only because he has had a boogie that was bothering him. I immediately go and get a kleenex and get it out for him.
whenever B wants to eat something I don't want her to eat, I tell her she'll have a tummy ache and then won't be able to sleep at night.
Kids are very visual, maybe you can tell him that every time he does it, a bug starts to grow in his belly and before you know it, he'll be a giant bug.
I don't know, I'm talking out of my ass because I don't know what I'd do. I know that I'd be pulling her hand out every split second if thats what it took.
ETA: Sorry, don't know why I said him...I guess I imagine boys doing it. lol
Re: I'd rather have a liar than a nose picker.
yeah, you win.
I don't play that. If B's finger even goes near her nose I tell her its nasty and she better not even go there.
I think they pick it up at DC! lol
Liam is 5!
