DH is out of town on business.  In Hawaii!  Lucky dude...

It's just so funny (in retrospect), to think that when he was leaving one night a week to go see his daughter when Maya was 2 weeks old, I was in complete and uttter panic about it.  Now, it's a total breeze!  In fact, I'm sorta secretly happy to have the house quiet, and have it just be DD and I!  So nice!

I got home from work today, sent the nanny home, and just bonded with my girl.  It's the best freaking feeling in the world

that sounds nice.  DH left us for an entire week on a business trip when Avery was 3 weeks old.  I actually didn't mind - we just did our thing together.

I totally know the feeling! DH never really has to go out of town, but he plays soccer and has drinks with the boys every Friday night. I used to panic about being alone with DS for the night, but now I love it! Just me and him hanging out, plus mommy alone time once he's asleep for the night

That is great, some people would hate being all alone.  I am glad you have such a good outlook on it and had a great time with her.  I hope he brings you something good back from Hawaii.
