How high were your platelets? Just wondering because mine were slightly high and my OB didn't mention Heparin. We haven't really discussed it yet, I'm waiting for my next appt to talk about my options.
Thanks!

Mine have been consistently high for the past 6 years and I have been seeing a hematologist. (between 750 and 900)
I would think that if yours were only slightly high one time that there wouldn't be much to worry about. It could be because of an injury or infection, and they often go back to normal on their own.
Also, when you are pregnant your platelet count can sometimes go even higher than we you aren't - which is part of the reason for the heparin for me.
I had preconception blood work (about 6 months prior to bfp ) that also showed slightly elevated platelets. So I dont think its pregnancy or injury, but will have to discuss with my OB!
