i live in bfe and thats the closest ob. there is only the family practitioner here, who has given me 3 rx's in the last year i am allergic to. so, yeah, he doesnt get to play with my babe.

'cause at the end, you are going to have a LOT of appointments and making that round trip is going to be a bear.

Where will you deliver? Close to you or still 2 hours away?

the hospital here doesnt even have an anesth. so i will deliver two hours away. i think they will induce me at 39 weeks so i dont accidentally have a kid on the highway. i hope at least.

yeah, that's going to be for the best, IMO. I think a lot of OBs would be aware in your situation that inducing is the way to go.

I understand.   There are 5 OB/GYN's in my town all of which have penises...lol.  My issue is that 4 of them are in the same practice and if you have one of them as a doctor you have to have all, as you never know who is on call.  When I got pregnant I realized that I don't like showing my vagiya to so many people...plus the female nurse who has to sit in.  So I made the decision to go to the next town an hour away to see a female doctor who will be delivering my baby for unless some unforseen emergency comes up. 

It is totally worth the drive to see someone you trust and are comfortable with.
