I used to work for a car rental company before having ds and there would be no way I would use one of their seats. They don't clean them and there is no telling if it has been in an accident. I have heard some gross things from the complaints of customers about the car seat. Also - even if you reserve one they can't actually guarantee they will have one for you when you arrive (even though they are supposed to). You are better off bringing your own.
