we have dish nework and he sets all these shows to be recorded since he works swing shift.  so tonight he set american idol and lie to me to record and they got sent to tv 2 (the tv in the spare room)  he also set UFC to record but it overlaps lie to me so it is recording in the living room.   problem is when something is recording you can't change the channel or it will cancel the recording.  i don't know whether to cancel the recording or just watch UFC so i can learn a move or two and choke him when he gets home!  grr!

Lame.Cancel it. He told you it was being recorded and it wasn't so he shouldn't mind if you change it.
