I plan to breast feed and pump when I go back to work.  I am a teacher and am wondering how often do I need to pump during the school day (730-3).  Also how long does it take to pump from start to finish, my lunch is only 20 minutes.

    I would try to pump 2-3 times a day.  The more you can the better.  It usually takes me 20-25 mins (including setup, break down and cleaning).

    I only work 1x a week but I am sure it is all the same- I pump 3x daily for 20 mins each.  I try to space them out about 2.5 hours- I feed DS right before I leave and as soon as I get home.

    Good luck- keep a nice book or magazine and some pics of DC in your pump bag- they may help with your let down.
