Did you do your maternity photos with Kate McElwee?

I booked my session with her the day after she possibly did yours - I already checked out her blog and they look FANTASTIC!!!

If you did do yours with her, can you give an advice on what to expect? What to bring? Basically, just any insight?

I did do them with Kate, and she is amazing. Don't worry about what you will look like at all. She will make you feel comfortable, and look even better than you feel. She'll let you take the reigns, if you have any good ideas, so do some research of local photographers. I didn't like the shots with just a sheet (that's not really me) so we didn't do that. But I loved lingerie shoots, so we did do boudoir. If you are comfortable with nudity, she will incorporate it, and make you look and feel stunning. She is so incredible and your pictures will be better than you can even imagine. I am also booking Max's first photos with her, so that they go with the maternity ones. Have a terrific shoot with her.

Here is the list of stuff she asked me to bring:

Jeans for you and your DH (same color/wash), non-maternity button down shirt (I brought one of my husbands), wrap/scarf/sheet/sarong (I didn't do this, cause I didn't have one), close fitting tanks, lingerie (if you are doing boudoir), stripy thigh-high socks (got mine at Target, they have tons of cute ones), baby toys, ABC wooden blocks, shoes or booties you have recieved for baby, a hoodie, and whatever else you think will be cute.
