All the nest talk convinced me to get one. My friend did too. (We actually got a two pack from ebay for much cheaper!) It is great!! If you have heard anything about Harvey Karp's 5 S's, he recommends swaddling as a way to soothe a baby. You can swaddle a baby with any big blanket but the Miracle Blanket is a lightweight, cotten material that is cut in a way to more "efficiently" swaddle. It truly is a miracle. I already plan to give them as shower gifts from now on.
I also first heard about it on The Nest when I was pg with my son. It worked great on him, better than the SwaddleMe. But with Natalie, she doesn't like it as much. She fights it and gets out of it and winds up tangled in it. But, she sleeps much better swaddled so I still do it but have been using the SwaddleMe more often and at least iof she gets out of it she doesn't get as tangled up b/c there isn't as much fabric. I would definitely reccomend at lest trying the MB though.
I heard about the MB on here, too. DS has to be swaddled to sleep at all and he busts out of the SwaddleMes too easilly. I kind of wish I didn't waste the money because, like the SwaddleMe, it's too loose for him around his legs. It keeps his hands and arms in fine, but he has too much freedom in his legs, and if we try to wrap the blanket to also cover his legs his arms are too loose. That may just be our little guy giving us trouble though... you might want to try for yourself.
