I plan on using the one we have with the bassinet next to my bed at first, though with how big they're measuring, I'm not sure how long that will last. Do you think I'll need/want one for downstairs for napping and diaper changing?
We only had one and it was in our LR-- no babies in our bedroom. It held like 15lbs or something so we were able to lay them both in it for two months or so? After that they slept in their swings. I did miss that changer though, so we went and got a changing table.
We have three, so that when we go places, they have somewhere to sleep, so I guess eventually you'd probably want 2. Mine always slept in their room, in their cribs, and I always change them on their changing table in their room, so I can't really answer the rest. Hmm. But I'd say eventually you're going to want two.
We got two but only because we had to provide them for our daycare. We only used one while I was home on maternity leave, in our room. We didn't have one set up down stairs for naps, just diaper changes.
We just bought a second one from Craigslist. We used the one we have at first for the boys to nap in and changing the boys n our living room. Once they got bigger and were napping upstairs, we moved it to our room for naps. We really only need 2 for travelling and most places we've gone, we've borrowed one BUT we're renovating our upstairs bathroom so both boys will have to nap in our basement bedroom - thus the xtra pnp. btw, we ended up buying another changing table for the living room (yes, it looks like BRU exploded in our house) but we use it more than the one in their nursery.
