Re: What are some sure fire signs of teething?

  • Really, the only thing I can see is seeing teeth poke through! :)

I thought Tillman was teething starting around 3 months.  His first tooth broke through at 11 months!

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

  • some common signs are excessive drool, irritability, mild fever, shoving lots of things in their mouths...  Also, I can usually see the tooth below the surface a couple of weeks before it pokes through

For us, the first two teeth showed up together, with no warning at 4 months.

  • I can see two white bumps on the bottom. She is drooling like crazy, and is chewing on her hands like no other.
  • for hannah it was extremely excessive drooling....her shirt would be soaked!  When she was closer to 1, she'd stick her whole fist in her mouth.  She had her 1st tooth by 4 months.

  • although it was never a signifigant change, we did notice a little runny nose (clear) and loose stools around the time Jacob would get some new teeth..he got his first teeth at 3.5 months so it is possible Isabelle could definatley be getting some teeth! Good Luck!
