Please tell me that I am not the only one still living in PJs? How often are baths happening (for the babies)? Do you change the babies for bed then dress them again in day clothes in the morning?
lol. ?your post made me laugh...because i spend most of my days in PJ's. ?i have always bathed my babies every other night, it's just too hard to do it every night. ?fwiw, i used to "dress" them during the day, but looking back they were so small and they did nothing, so for laundry's sake...i'd leave them in their pj's.
I am SO right there with you. Not only am I wearing my "house clothes" (yoga pants, sports bra and a long sleeve t-shirt) it's the same ones I wore yesterday!
I've been bathing mine twice a week. I wipe them down daily. I just don't see the need for baths more often they don't do anything but sleep at this point!
No, we change them in the morning. They are living in sleepers right now. It's easiest for all of us.
I pretty much live in my PJ's most days. I bath the babies every other day. And they stay in their PJ's until they have a mess or a bath or we have to go out for something.
OK mine aren't a month yet but since you and I were basically due date buddies I'm jumping in anyway. I am living in PJs except when we have people coming over or sometimes I just feel the need to put on real clothes. I asked the pediatrician at our first visit how often to bathe the babies--I realized there were some things like that I just didn't know--and she said "when they start to smell," lol, so that's the guideline I go by. Honestly so far it's only been about once a week with some sponge bathing/wiping down in between. Once we get more of a routine hopefully it'll be more often but I just haven't felt like I had the time to do it more often! And we just change their clothes when they get spit up on, diaper leaks, etc. (so 2-3 times a day on average) or if someone's coming over and I want to dress them up a little.
LOL nope you are not the only one. I live in yoga pants, sports bras, tshirts (usually with some type of stain on it) and flip flops. My hair is always in a pony tail and I am lucky to put makeup on once a week. Sometimes I catch a glimps of myself in the mirror and don't recognize the person!
We do baths as part of our nighttime routine since we brought them home so every night. As far as "day clothes" were concerned it the beginning we live in the south and it was hot! So they basically lived in onsies and pjs.
I am in "house clothes" most of the time also, and am working a shower about every other day. Lately we have been trying to get out of the house a little bit, so yesterday I actually got dressed and put on makeup - but DH was home to allow that to happen.
We change the babies clothes after the 2nd feeding every morning (around 10 am)- they are just in sleepers now - so they stay in the sleeper until they have to be changed b/c of a mess, etc. Like PP, sometimes we get them dressed in regular clothes if guests are coming over.
We have been doing sponge baths every other day so far - their skin is a little dry - so haven't done a "real" bath yet - just a very thorough sponge bath with washing hair, etc.

Please if I didn't have a nanny here I wouldn't even put a bra on!! At least she motivates me to look semi-human:)
As for baths, we try to do them every other day. But sometimes things get totally insane with a toddler here too, so we're not that strict about it. ?
