My first PIO shot.  I was going to have DH do it, but he is being a booger.  So, I decided to try doing it on my own.  I will not lie.  It is insanely scary sticking that big needle in your hip, but I did it.  And it was not that horrendously horrible.

Wow.  I'm super impressed.  I almost had to give my bf one in December because her boyfriend forgot before he left the house.  I'm not easily disturbed by needles and I almost gagged when she showed it to me.

You deserve to buy something nice for yourself.

I did that with my first sub q shots.  With this one, I thought just jab hard quick or I am going to chicken out if I keep looking at the huge needle.  It helped that I was mad at DH.  I took my anger out on my hip. LOL

ahhhh, was that the 2 inch needle?   I actually had less pain with those than the smaller SC needles.  Odd.   I used to look forward to trigger in my thigh!
