Just got a letter from my RE. Only clear liquids the day before surgery and I have to drink the laxative stuff starting at 1pm on Tues, so I guess its only a half day at work. Also got a letter from the surgery center that says I have to go in Friday morning for lab work and pay them $390 up front.

sorry, that sounds like no fun at all.   That Fleet Phospho soda is the root of all things evil.  I hope you dont have to drink that stuff as the laxative.

Have fun with the mag citrate.  I had to drink 2 bottles once before surgery and had to set up camp in the bathroom for about 3-4 hours.

Oh the paper also says no vitamins or supplements 2 weeks before surgery. Good thing i gave up on my PNV and supplements weeks ago. And no advil, asprin, etc for the next week either. This is going to suck I aleady have a headache and cant take anything.

Headache???? vodka is a clear liquid??? I would think that would help a headache?

And let me tell you, a can of swansom doesn't cut it for lunch when I had to get the camera up me bum!!  I was soooooo hungry and it was no fun!

If it makes you feel better, I had to pay 600 up front just to re, and then 1000 to the laser surgery lady!
