Well, I guess I'm not getting laid off!

This is kind of an AW, but I have been really worried about this... 

They have HUGE layoffs going on in my office right now... they cut out an entire department entirely last week.  So far 1/3 of my building is gone. I'm on short term disability for bedrest so I was wondering if I had a bullseye on my forehead once my 12 weeks expires.

I just had my review and I got the highest ranking possible for 2008 performance- I'm the only person in the building to get that rating.  I know with layoffs anything can happen, but at least it makes me feel like I'm not on the chopping block quite as much anymore!

    Oh, I should add... 2008 was also my year of pregnancy and miscarriages, so I really felt like I was not on my A game all year.  It's also nice to see that my miscarriages didn't affect my job performance as much as I thought.
