What should we do about family vacation? Input please.

We have gone with my family a lot through the years and last year we took DS to the beach just us and it was awesome! We are going to a different beach this June and we are stoked. I think it just depends on you and your family. Does your husband enjoy going with your parents? Do you guys do everything on vacation with them or just a few things? Do you want to go with them or by yourselves?
