and we have 1 BEAUTIFUL HEARTBEAT!!!

it was sooo neat!! the baby is measuring at exactly 7weeks 0days so that's awesome! the gestational sac is at 6weeks 2days which is also good! the yolk sac is measuring at 2.3- they like to see it between 2.5-5.5 but she said 2.3 is fine. they'd rather see it on the smaller side than on the larger side. plus she said it was only off by like 2 so we're splitting hairs- so yay!

ummm- hmm, ok so the best part was the heartbeat! we saw it flickering away & it measured at 142 bpm- and and they want it between 120 & 180 so that's PERFECT! then she let us hear it- it was so cool! it was like "whooosh whooosh whooosh"!!! (the husband wasn't impressed until he heard that because he had no idea what he was looking at. he though the yolk sac was the head & he looked alarmed at the size & the fact that it was "detached"- heh)

ummm- everything looks good! my ovaries are a little enlarged but that's normal so no worries- she didn't see any cause for bleeding so that's good too...ummm. i think that's it!

the nurse released me from the RE (he'll call this afternoon) and i have to set-up an appt with my OBGYN for a f/u u/s in 2 weeks to make sure everything is still on track! she gave us pictures & i'll scan them tonight & put them in my blog. i have to say i was relieved to see 1- i was so sure i wanted twins (and still do some day) but i'm so thankful for 1 & i think that's what i'd be able to handle. seriously.
