NBR-Mandatory reduction in hours..:(

I had yesterday off from work since our daycare was closed and I came in today and had a ton of emails. I guess yesterday my company did a mandatory 5 hours per week reduction in hours per person to save money. On one hand I am a bit ok with it since I can now make the time to get to the gym but sad because less money I may not be able to afford the gym. I am greatful to still have my job but scared of what will come of this.

So does that mean you will work 1 hour less per day? Yeah it does suck but at least they aren't laying anyone off! That is great gym time though!

I can relate...unfortunatley
There is a good chance that dh's company is going to be giving everyone a 20% paycut...and since Im a sahm, its going to really affect us if this happens...I really really really wish the economy/housing market would turn itselt around...and quickly!!

Tiffany, Yes some of my team members will do 1 less hour a day some will take 1 day that they work just 3 hours. I kind of wish they would have said 8 Hours it would be easier to take a whole day off rather than 3 hour in office the 5 hours off. But yes I am greatful to even have my job right now. So many have it worse then I do.

OH NO!!!! At least that is some good gym time, but sucky that they are cutting back pay. I am looking at two treadmills, covered in snow, next to the garbage by my work. If it gets real bad you can come and steal them, then you wont have to pay for the gym.
