Can I tell you all something?

I used to love waking up in the morning when it had snowed overnight to see beautiful untouched snow. I have that same giddy feeling right now because it is supposed to snow. Any one else have some childhood memories that still make you feel like a kid?

Walking to school in the fall. ?Kicking all the leaves around, the fall smell in the air... ?stopping at 3 friends' houses on the way.

Also, they used to make outdoor skating rinks in winter at my school. ?I used to walk there almost daily, skate until my feet were numb, and walk home, usually ON my skates. ?Man that used to piss off my mom, but I liked the challenge lol

For me it would be the fun feeling I have when school is out for the summer (and I still get to participate in summer vacation).  I was a investigator (child abuse) for a few years before I started teaching and I worked mega hours.  Now I get the summer off and that feeling is great.

I do too.  I also love the "silence" of the snow - if that makes any sense.  LIke you walk out and hear Nothing - you can only see the snow falling and that's it.
