WOHM...quick question

Would you be offended if your next door neighbor called you up and said

"hey we have an abundance of turkey burgers over here if you are hungry. I can whip you up a take home for you and your DH."

 

the reason I ask is because while we are very friendly... I don't want to feel like I am intruding. They both work odd hours and have a 12 week old. She just went back to work and I know she said it has been crazy and overwhelming. I don't want her to feel like she has to stay over and chit chat...  

leave her alone and let her relax?

call her up and have her swing by on her way home from work?

DH got stuck late with a patient so I have burgers and fries just sitting here..damn.

 

ETA: more like put on the spot... I know they don't really cook that often because their hours are opposite.

I would not feel offended, I would just say I know how crazy it is with a 12 week old and when we had extras I thought of you.  There are many nights I would love someone to offer me dinner.

It's always nice to get a meal, especially with her just getting back to work.  I would call and offer it or offer to run it over but have to run back because you don't want to keep the kids up too late or something...
