Thoughts on tuna @ Panera

I just got home from work w/ lunch from Panera and had to laugh and think of the funny food questions on here... I ordered baked potato soup in a breadbowl w/ chips (so healthy, I know!)

I just opened the bag and found a very yummy tuna sandwich with a side of potato soup, bread, and chips.  THANK GOD whoever ordered this got potato soup or I would have been insanely pissed off as it would be a good 25 min. drive back there. But this tuna sandwich is good! Any thoughts on if it's the safer tuna we're OK'd to eat occasionally or not? Either way, I'm eating it

it probably is bc the "safer" tuna (chunk light) is cheaper

i'm sure it's fine. Panera uses very high quality ingredients & tuna in moderation is A-OK.

I vote yes.  My doctor also said you don't have to cut out all tuna you just have to limit it to once a week

its probably not albacore, simply because its more expensive.

From what I've read, twice a week of tuna is fine. And it's better if it's light tuna.

My doc said absolutely not to eat tuna steak because of the mercury content.  They said two servings a week of canned tuna is ok.

That's what I figured... more just musing on the irony of getting a tuna sandwich by accident. But it's tasty!

I live on Panera tuan salad sandwiches- so I hope it's safe!
