scare the sh!t out of me about labor.  i really have not been scared of labor until i stopped working and have time to watch this nonsense.  the scariest show i have seen was the freebirthing show, i think on saturday. 

maybe it's because it is getting closer, but i really really can't stand the thought of screaming and groaning and being so out of control of my body.  i know it's probably gonna happen but i'm nervous. 

hmm....i think it's time to change the channel to barefoot contessa or something.

oh yes i was scared with my first pregnancy and i think it was because of the birthing shows i used to watch... instead of helping me understand birth it only scared me .. i don't think you should watch them anymore...

Think about it this way...

Would they show the nice, peaceful pregnancies on television?  Would that make people tune in and stay tuned in?  No, people like drama, chaos, screaming sweaty labor.  At least I do!
