    Hi,

    Thanks for thinking of our little guy.  We ended up not doing the colonoscopy and just did more stool samples. our Pedi GI really felt strongly that he didn't need one since the blood in his stool had stopped and by the time of his appointment, the diarrhea had really decreased.  I am happy to report that he has had normal poop for several days now and no blood.  I hope it stays that way.  He did have it for over three weeks, though.  The doc thinks it was a reaction to amoxicillan and then caused an infection which resulted in blood.  We are happy that he seems to be healthy again.  Thanks for the prayers and good wishes for him.
