cheesy studio portraits of a boyfriend/girlfriend couple--not married couple, not children...a couple that's dating.

DH's friend and the girl he's dating had them done.

I died laughing when I saw them.  Am I mean?

Before we were married, DH won a "protrait session" and wanted us to do them together.  This was right after we were engaged.  I hated them!  U-G-L-Y!

HA! this reminds me- when i first got with the husband i snooped around & found all his pictures of him & the ex...and THEY HAD THESE DONE!! well, according to him they were HER idea- but whatever. (i got that tib-bit through general conversation)

he still doesn't know i found them & had a lovely laugh over them. God- they were aweful- she actually had her hair in pigtails...PIGTAILS!

Silly. I didn't even like getting engagement pics done. We did them anyway because they were part of the deal--the way for the photographer to get to know us. But the only one I really liked was of only our feet.

Well, if they were going to be separated overseas or something, then maybe.  My brother and I did cheese-errific studio pics like that (cupped hands and all) for my mom before he went overseas, but that was all she wanted for Christmas (new pics of us).  They were awful.
