Best Theme Idea EVER!

My mom had the BEST idea for a nursery theme today.  I was totally going to pass on the theme and just decorte it nicely, but we were talking about children's books, and how much I loved Berestain Bear books as a little kid.  She saved them all, and is going to bring them to me for the baby, and suggested that we do a Berenstain Bear themed nursery. 

 I cannot tell you how much I love this idea.  I think I'm going to try to paint a Bear Country mural on the walls, and do all the bedding in primary colors.  The crown touch is going to be a piece of chair rail all around the room, maybe two feet from the ceiling to display all the books on. 

 This is totaly dorky, but i loved the Berenstain Bears with a ferocity i cannot describe to you, and think it's going to be absolutley adorable.

Yes, I saw those, and I bid on them.  I am prepared to fight to the bitter end for them.  If I get them I'm going to make window valances and a throw pillow out of them.

A mural with the tree and their "treehouse" would look so cute on the wall.

That is a really cute idea! I was also a huge Berenstein Bear fan and I also kept all my books. You'll have to post pictures when you're done.

Of course, my mom is saying that whatever we pick out for the baby, he will hate it later on.  Oh well.  I love our nursery.
