How can I be nice...

To tell my friend (USED to be close in that she knows we are stil having IF issues) I don't want to hear how her skinny arse has already gained 18lbs (yes she is now 24wks pg).....Ummm, did you not think that growing a life inside of you wouldn't change your body and make you gain weight???!!!!

ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH...Be satisfied that you ARE pregnant, cause I wish I could complain of the weight gain as that would mean I were pregnant...

I just don't think she has the right to complain about it - well at least around me!!!

    You're 100% right that she is complaining to the wrong person.  Being uncomfortable with her rapidly changing body is completely understandable but she's talking to the wrong person about it.  I'm sure she has 8,000 other people who will listen patiently, but you by no means should be one of those people.  With that said, I would just honestly tell her that you're very happy for her, but it's hard to hear her vent about the negatives of something you want so badly and haven't yet achieved.

    Thanks JackiTiger.... I'm glad you can see my point of view... Don't get me wrong, I'm over the moon she is pg (i've already purchased shower giftS for her) I just don't want to hear the complaints...

    I was starting to think I was becoming a jealous biach and I DONT want to be that person...

    I bet if you remind her just once, she'll feel like an arse and stop. Just one "At least you can get pregnant."?
