Yeah, I like just plain "Maeve" -- Maven makes me think of, you know, the word that means "expert" -- not necessarily a bad thing, I guess

I really think you'd be better off sticking with Maeve, which is a beautiful name.  Maven = A person who has special knowledge or experience; an expert.

I like Maeve, I think adding the "n" makes it sound masculine.

Maeve is our #1 for a girl, I think it's very feminine. I wouldn't add the n, but if you're set on it, then Maeven.
