Blood in Spit Up?

My 5 and a half month old DD just spit up blood. Just before and just after the blood, it was regular spit up. I know this is not normal, especially for a EBF baby. Has this happened to anyone else? I am on hold with the nurseline from my doctor now, but the wait time is ridiculous. Help!

yes, it was due to her reflux, which irritated her esophagus. she went on zantac.

Are your nipples bleeding? Does she have a milk allergy?
