The room that was going to be the nursery has been full of DH's crap for like 2 years. I had never bothered to clean it since I was hoping when I did I would be getting it ready for a baby. Well DH woke up this mornign and decided it needed to be cleaned, so he cleaned it out. I just went and spent $200 on a new comforter set and new decor for it. I am happy its clean, but its kind of sad that its just a guest room.

That is kind of sad.
Our guest room/nursery has been general storage. We bought dresser and matching changing table and intended buy a mattress and clean it out and turn it into a temporary guest room, but my mom talked me out of it.
So it's just filled with crap. I don't want to clean it out because I can't stand the thought that it's just an empty room.

We have one of those rooms. We painted it a year and a half ago. It's a collection of furniture and it's called "the green room".
