I am thinking of getting a moses basket for the babies' first few weeks. I thought it might be a lot more convenient while I'm recovering from a c-section.
I did not have one, but it might not be a bad idea. We were given a used rolling bassinet and it has been THE BEST THING. The babies sleep in there and hang out in there. We roll them around from room to room so we can keep them nearby while they are sleeping, it's the best.
i used the cocoon attachment for my Phil & teds stroller like a moses basket - it was very handy - could carry DS upstairs with me if he was sleeping and i had to do something or go to the bathroom, etc.
i was given a moses basket that would be large enough for twins (early on) that i plan to use.
i always thought they were silly- but after using the one i had realized how convenient they can be- esp if you have a 2 story house and can't roll around a bassinet.
