? about pregnancy

I know this is too early for braxton hicks or anything like that because I'm only 18 weeks, but I'm wondering what others think.  Last night when I was laying in bed my belly got really really hard and painful.  I was also extremely constipated and gassy (Sorry TMI).

My uterus is still below my belly button and that is where it got really hard?  This never happened with DS-my only "contractions" like feelings came in my last few weeks of the pregnancy.

Any thoughts?  I feel crazy because I know it can't be contractions, but it on my mind.

My ob/gyn said BH start around 18 weeks with many 2nd (and beyond) pregnancies, so I bet that's what they are.

probably bh... mine started earlier with ds (#2) and were more painful.  fun fun. if you have too many in an hour (some say 4, some say 6 in an hour) call.
