Retirement Party Gift.

we're goign to a retirement party...its for an old, old boss of DH's...from several jobs ago.  But we go to church with him and see him at other things so Dh and the guy have kept in touch.

Do we get him anything?  If so, what?

I think you should bring something, I'm just not sure what.  Is he a wine drinker, maybe?  Or does he have any hobbies? I would not personally spend a lot, but would bring something small-ish.
