  • It IS exhausting! But I always feel more tired when I am watching other people's kids...don't know why?
  • Imagine having 3!

  • Awww...come on now, it's fun--LOL!  Actually the first year is rough but after that, it's easier.  My kids entertain each other 95% of the time...when I had 1 I had to do all the entertaining. ;o)

  • Whenever people are exhausted playing with my daughter and ask how I do it I point out that she wasn't born a toddler!  Same goes with having more than 1 child... you have the newborn stage to slowly adjust instead of suddenly having 2 toddlers thrust upon you!

  • Others kids are more exhausting than your own.  I think it's the lack of established routine.
  • ditto chrisy and sugar...

my kids are playing together as we speak.... when I've watched friends' kids, I feel the need to entertain or plan activities.   It's much more exhausting... that coupled with younger ages when you do have to watch over them more. when dd was 11m/o ish and I'd watch her friend who was a couple of months younger... they don't "play together" at that age.  but do interact.  much more refereeing then.

  • It's always harder when one is not your own-- though two of my own is still more tiring than when I had just one. ?:)

  • It is challenging, yeah - but when they are your own kids, it is totally worth every frustrating moment and exhausting day :-)
